MUSEUM OF HUMAN EVOLUTION

The Museum of Human Evolution is located in the city center of Burgos in a modern building which was designed by the Spanish architect and painter Juan Navarro Baldeweg.

The Museum of Human Evolution is the central building and the central point of the Complex of Human Evolution and it is situated between the National Center of Human Investigation (CENIEH) and the palace of congress as well as the auditorium ’’Forum Evolución Burgos‘‘.

 


The MHE does not only hold the discoveries of the site of the find of Atapuerca but it also holds the scientific disciplines which intervene and the interpretations and scientific theories which are drawn out from this.

 

Additionally the museum aims to offer a holistic vision of the human presence on earth and point out the importance of the discoveries in the desert of Atapuerca.

 

 

Apart from being a place of exhibition the museum is also a center of divulgation of first rank, inovative and atractive for all kinds of people with a team prepared and capable to convey and translate the knowledge of the human evolution.
